History of Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery

While the local orchard was not always a public attraction, the Lautenbach farm has been producing quality fruit since 1955! In 1975, the family decided to share their delicious fruits with the community and opened the doors to their spacious farm market. Here, they sold their freshly grown produce and many other goods including cherry pies, artisan cheese, jams, salsas, and more. 10 years later, the farm’s old dairy barn was converted into a winery and began producing award-winning selections from the fruits grown right on the property.

Today, the Lautenbach family continues to create high-quality fruits, wines, and baked goods made with care and only the freshest ingredients. They’ve even partnered with other family producers that carry the same values and traditions. With so much to see, experience, and taste, a visit to Lautenbach’s Orchard Country Winery is a must for any Door County itinerary!
